OK Carin, I did it. I set this up, we'll see how it goes. The first of undoubtedly many blog newbie traumas was what to name this. I hadn't thought that this rant, virtual training log, shameless self-promoting-bore-people to tears-blog thing would need a name, but it asked for one. So in an unsuccessful 3 minutes of trying to think of something clever...Aluminum Woman is what I settled on. I thought about: TRIING Not to Bonk...too negative, TRIMOM...too common mommyish, something Gaelic or with Libra in it...and then I realized I was obsessing over something idiotic (a common problem with me). I can't use anything with Iron in it, because that would be cursing myself to an embarrassing photo of a DNF trip to the medical tent to end this blog. So, Aluminum: everyday metal, common, practical, and has 101 uses...I could relate.
My apologies in advance if you are reading this. My goal is to try to post my workouts, nutrition (currently consisting of lots of cheese, peanut butter and Mallomars, not necessarily in that order) and whatever else I figure out that I'm supposed to be doing to blog, train, or live a happy and fulfilling life.
